## 1. Who is responsible for your personal data

**Caitlin Annette Deluca Stephens**, a natural person carrying on business activity (*persona física con actividad empresarial*) under the commercial name FOR ME, with domicile in Tepoztlán, State of Morelos, Mexico, RFC SEDC860324GL5, is the party responsible (*responsable*) for the processing of your personal data. This notice is issued under the Ley Federal de Protección de Datos Personales en Posesión de los Particulares, published in the Diario Oficial de la Federación on 20 March 2025 and in force since 21 March 2025.

## 2. What personal data we process

**We ask you for one thing: your email address.**

We collect it when you enter it to unlock Content on the Site. We use it to give you that access. That is the whole of what we ask you for.

**Collected automatically when you visit the Site:** IP address, approximate region derived from it, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed and time spent on them. This is standard web traffic data generated by our hosting and analytics tools.

**We do not process sensitive personal data.**

We hold no data revealing health, racial or ethnic origin, religious or philosophical beliefs, political opinions, union membership, genetic or biometric information, or sexual life or preferences.

**We also do not collect:** your name, your postal address, your telephone number, official identification, or any financial or payment information. The Site is free of charge and we operate no payment system.

## 3. Written contributions are anonymous

Contributions sent through the "Submit Your Fantasy" form are anonymous by design.

That form contains no field for your email address and no field for your legal name. It invites an optional pseudonym only, and asks that you not include details identifying you or any other person.

Because nothing collected there identifies anyone, contributions are not personal data, and no database linking a person to such a contribution exists or will be created. The email address you give at the email gate is held entirely separately, and we make no attempt to connect the two.

If a contribution reaches us containing information identifying a real person, we will edit that information out or discard the submission.

## 4. Why we process your email address

**Purposes that do not require your consent** — these are necessary to provide what you have asked for:

a) to give you access to Content protected by the email gate;
b) to send you the access link and any message strictly necessary to that access;
c) to keep the Site secure and functioning, and to detect misuse;
d) to respond to your enquiries and to any request to exercise your rights;
e) to comply with legal obligations that apply to us.

**Purposes that require your consent** — these are optional and you may decline them without losing access to anything:

f) to send you news about new work published by FOR ME;
g) to invite you to screenings, readings and other events.

To decline, simply leave the consent box unticked. To withdraw consent later, use the unsubscribe link in any message or write to annette@for-me.mx. Withdrawal is free and takes effect promptly; it does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.

## 5. Where your data goes

**We do not sell, rent, trade or share your email address with third parties for their own purposes.**

We use service providers who process data strictly on our behalf and under our instructions:

- Squarespace, Inc. — website hosting, form handling and email delivery (United States)
- Google LLC (Google Analytics) — site usage statistics (United States)

Newsletter delivery is handled by Squarespace's own email tools; we use no separate email marketing provider.

Because these providers operate outside Mexico, your email address is stored and processed abroad, principally in the United States.

We may disclose data where a competent authority lawfully requires it, or where necessary to establish or defend a legal claim. Any such disclosure will be limited to what is strictly necessary.

## 6. Your rights (derechos ARCO)

You may Access your personal data, request its Rectification, request its Cancellation, or Object to its processing. You may also revoke your consent at any time and limit the use or disclosure of your data.

**To exercise any of these, write to annette@for-me.mx** with:

a) your name and an email address for our reply;
b) a document establishing your identity, or your representative's identity and authority;
c) a clear description of what you are asking for;
d) anything that helps us locate the data.

We will respond within 20 business days, and where the request is granted we will act on it within 15 business days after that. We may ask you for clarification within 5 business days of receipt. There is no charge, beyond justified reproduction or delivery costs if any apply.

The simplest route is usually the shortest: writing to us and asking to be deleted will get your email address removed. Note that if you do, you will need to re-enter it to unlock Content again.

## 7. Cookies

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies to remember that you have confirmed your age and passed the email gate, to keep the Site working, and to produce anonymous usage statistics.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you do, parts of the Site may not work as intended and you may be asked to complete the age and email gates again.

## 8. How long we keep your email address

We keep it for as long as you continue to use the Site or remain subscribed to our communications.

If you unsubscribe or ask for cancellation, we delete it promptly, keeping only the minimum record needed to honour your request.

Automatically collected traffic data is retained in aggregate form and is not linked to you individually.

## 9. Security

We apply reasonable administrative, technical and physical measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure or alteration. Access to the email list is limited to the people who need it to run FOR ME.

Our exposure here is deliberately small: we hold email addresses and nothing else. Should a breach materially affect your rights, we will notify you without undue delay.

## 10. Changes to this notice

We may amend this notice to reflect changes in our practices, our providers, or the law. The version in force is the one published at [https://www.for-me.mx/aviso-de-privacidad — CONFIRM URL], and the "Last updated" date will change accordingly. Where a change is material, we will notify subscribers by email.

## 11. Complaints

If you consider that your right to the protection of personal data has been infringed, you may bring a complaint before the Secretaría Anticorrupción y Buen Gobierno, which assumed these functions from INAI under the 2025 law. [Confirm current filing route and contact details before publication.]

## 12. Minors

The Site is intended for adults aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has given us their data, write to annette@for-me.mx and we will delete it.
