1. Who we are and what these terms cover

This website (the "Site") is operated by Annette Stephens, a natural person carrying on business activity (*persona física con actividad empresarial*) under the commercial name FOR ME, with domicile in Tepoztlán, State of Morelos, Mexico, RFC SEDC860324GL5. Our full domicile is available on request by writing to hello@for-me.mx.

These Terms and Conditions (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the Site and any content, written works, audio works, films, newsletters or other materials made available through it (together, the "Content").

By accessing the Site, submitting your email address, or viewing any Content, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

These Terms should be read together with our Privacy Notice, which explains how we handle your personal data.

2. Age requirement

**The Site is intended for adults aged 18 years or older.**

By entering the Site you represent and warrant that:

a) you are at least 18 years of age, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction if that age is higher;
b) you are accessing the Site voluntarily and of your own choice; and
c) you will not permit any person under 18 to access the Content through your device.

Access to the Site requires you to confirm your age. If you cannot make the confirmations above, you must leave the Site immediately.

We reserve the right to introduce additional age assurance measures where required by the laws applicable to users in a given territory.

3. Nature of the Content

FOR ME is an independent media project publishing original work created by women, for women. The Content currently comprises written fiction, audio works and one short film, and explores intimacy, relationships and desire from a female perspective.

**Some Content contains adult themes, and one short film includes sensual scenes.** These are non-explicit: they are built around narrative, atmosphere and emotional experience rather than graphic depiction, and the Content is not pornographic or sexually explicit material. It is nonetheless written and made for an adult audience and may not be to every reader's or viewer's taste.

Individual works may carry their own content notes. We encourage you to read these before viewing or listening.

All persons appearing or performing in the Content were at least 18 years of age at the time of production, participated with informed written consent, and were engaged under professional production conditions.

4. Email collection and access to Content

Certain Content is made available only after you provide a valid email address (the "Email Gate").

By submitting your email address, you acknowledge and agree that:

a) you are submitting an email address that belongs to you and that you are entitled to use;
b) we will process your email address in accordance with our Privacy Notice;
c) we will use it to grant you access to the requested Content and to send you communications relating to that access; and
d) where you have given your consent by ticking the relevant box, we will also send you newsletters, updates about new work, and information about FOR ME.

**Consent to marketing communications is optional and is never a condition of accessing the Content.** You may withdraw it at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any email or by writing to hello@for-me.mx. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

We do not sell, rent or trade your email address to third parties.

You have the right to access, rectify, cancel or object to the processing of your personal data (ARCO rights), and, where applicable, to request portability or restriction of processing. The procedure for exercising these rights is set out in our Privacy Notice.

Access granted through the Email Gate is personal to you. You may not share access links, credentials or gated URLs with others.

5. No charge for access

The Content is provided free of charge. We do not charge for access to the Site or to any Content, we do not operate subscriptions, and access is not conditional on any payment. We do not collect or process payment card details through the Site.

6. Licence to use the Content

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access, read, listen to and view the Content for your own private, non-commercial enjoyment.

You may not:

a) download, copy, record, screen-capture, rip, scrape or otherwise reproduce the Content, except where a download function is expressly offered;
b) redistribute, republish, broadcast, sell, licence or make the Content available to any third party;
c) publicly screen, perform or read the Content aloud, including at private events, without our prior written permission;
d) use the Content, in whole or in part, to train, fine-tune or develop any machine learning or artificial intelligence system;
e) remove, obscure or alter any copyright notice, watermark or attribution;
f) circumvent, disable or interfere with the age gate, email gate or any other access control; or
g) use the Site in any way that is unlawful, harassing, defamatory, or that disrupts its operation or security.

The Content being free to access does not make it free to reuse. We take unauthorised distribution of our work seriously and will pursue it.

## 7. Intellectual property

All Content, together with the FOR ME name, logo, brand identity, site design, text and graphics, is owned by us or licensed to us and is protected by Mexican and international copyright, trademark and related laws.

Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership right to you. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

If you believe any material on the Site infringes your rights, please contact us at hello@for-me.mx with details of the work concerned and we will investigate promptly.

8. User submissions

If you send us feedback, ideas, comments or other material, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use it in connection with our activities, without obligation of compensation or attribution. Please do not send us confidential information you are not willing for us to use on this basis.

9. Third-party services and links

The Site is hosted on Squarespace and uses third-party services for video and audio hosting, email delivery and analytics. Your use of the Site may therefore also be subject to the terms and privacy policies of those providers.

The Site may contain links to third-party websites. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, practices or availability.

10. Availability and changes to the Site

We aim to keep the Site available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We may suspend, withdraw or modify all or part of the Site, or any individual work within the Content, at any time, including for maintenance, technical, legal or editorial reasons, and without liability to you.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site or any Content, without notice, if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, in particular the age requirement in clause 2 or the licence restrictions in clause 6.

12. Disclaimers

The Content is a work of fiction and is published for cultural and entertainment purposes. Names, characters, events and incidents are the product of the authors' imagination; any resemblance to actual persons or events is coincidental.

The Content does not constitute medical, psychological, therapeutic, relationship or other professional advice, and should not be relied upon as such. If you have concerns about your health or wellbeing, please consult a qualified professional.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site and the Content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, or for any loss of profit, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site or the Content.

Our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall not exceed MXN $5,000.00 (five thousand Mexican pesos).

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

14. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless against any claim, loss, damage or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Content.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force is the one published on the Site, and the "Last updated" date will be revised accordingly. Where changes are material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you, including by email if you have subscribed to our communications. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

16. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of Tepoztlán, State of Morelos, and you and we expressly waive any other jurisdiction that might apply by reason of present or future domicile.

If you access the Site from outside Mexico, nothing in these Terms deprives you of the protection of any mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.

17. General

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force. Our failure to enforce any right does not constitute a waiver of it. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us in relation to the Site.
